The iS7 inverter is connected to the Ethernet network by an Ethernet communication option module.
It is compatible with both Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP protocols.
Any master module or PLC sequence program can be used to control and monitor inverters.
Controlling and monitoring are possible whenever Internet access is available since Ethernet, the technology that makes up the Internet, has been used and IPv4 has been enabled.
However, a gateway connection is required to link the factory's Ethernet network to the Internet.
Installation times can be shortened, and maintenance is made easier with simplified wiring.
