Flying operation controllers:

  • Flying material processing makes use of the FS641 controller.
  • A keyboard with a front-mounted pre-selection switch allows you to establish the cut-length specification easily and rapidly.
  • The FS641 controller also includes a programmable switching function with 4 fast transistor outputs and an additional 4 potential-free change-over contact output relays that can be controlled.

Controller for Machining On-the-Fly:

  • 2 pulse inputs in the following formats: A, B, 90° [HTL] or A, /A, B, /B [RS422].
  • 4 control inputs for HTL, PNP, NPN, and Namur signals [10–30 VDC].
  • The input frequency is up to 300 kHz.
  • 4 fast transistor outputs, push-pull, short-circuit-proof at 5–30 VDC.
  • 4 potential-free changeover relay outputs.
  • 1 scalable 14-bit analogue output (0/4 − 20 mA or ±10 V).
  • Cutting length can be specified using the keyboard or the front BCD decade switch.
  • Power supply: 17–40 VDC and 24 VAC.
  • Compact norm panel housing (according to EN 60715).
  • Mounting the top hat rail with the SM600 support brackets is an option.
  • Setup can be done with keys or on a PC using a serial RS232 interface.
  • PROFIBUS connection through the Motorola PB251 gateway.
