Flying Material Processing Firmware FS701
Flying operation controllers:
- Flying saws and flying shears are operated by the FS701 flying saw firmware.
- If the materials cannot be halted while being cut, they are utilized to cut them to length.
- A saw carriage that travels with the material is part of the application design.
- During the cutting operation, it runs synchronously with the material and returns to its original location once the cut is complete.

- By downloading the appropriate function firmware, users can program the MC700, a universal motion controller with 1 to 4 axes, for a variety of motion applications.
- This unit provides excellent solutions with all types of flying cut-to-length systems and with applications like labelling, printing, punching, sealing, and so on when using firmware’s FS701 or CT702.
- Functions and properties are quite similar to those of the FS340 controller, which is explained below.
- The range of functions includes extended possibilities with blanking of print marks, evaluation, and floating print mark registers, and more.
- The MC700 hardware is a black box designed for cabinet mounting.
- Remote control and communication facilities through serial PC communication, an external operator terminal, PROFIBUS, or optionally via CANBUS (MC700/CI), etc.
