Position monitors:
- Position monitors from the Motrona series are used to measure real values, such as rotational direction, standstill, and speed, and compare them to preset reference values.
- When an unwanted movement occurs, the devices activate a pre-programmed error message.
- These safety relays can be used to monitor and prevent slippage, torsion, shaft breakage, and misalignment.

- Each of the two independent encoder inputs has channels A, /A, B, /B, a 1 MHz counting capability, and an independent impulse scaling facility.
- Fast position or event counters, summation counters, differential counters, cutting length indicators, diameter calculators, and more have selectable operation modes.
- There are 4 preset levels, each with high-speed power transistor output.
- There is an RS232 interface as well as a high-speed analogue output, RS485 (only ZR), available.
- Choose between a 6-decade display (15 mm, 0.56'') or an 8-decade display (10 mm, 0.36'').
