Impulse Distributor for Incremental Encoder with Potential Separation 4 Outputs GV461
Level converters and signal splitters:
- The GV461 Impulse Distributor for Incremental Encoder with Potential Separation, 4 Outputs is a compact and highly versatile distributor and pulse splitter with a short-circuit-protected encoder supply and 4 outputs.
- It is appropriate for the signal distribution of incremental encoders or measuring systems.
- Because of its expanded temperature range of -4° to +140° F (20° to 60° C), the GV461 is suitable for usage in harsh climatic conditions. Its outputs are compatible to n x 4 outputs (no terminal loss).
Impulse Distributor for Incremental Encoder with Potential Separation (4 Outputs):
- One pulse input in the format A, B, Z [HTL] or A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z [RS422].
- Select input for PNP signals [10–30 VDC].
- The input frequency is up to 200 kHz for HTL or 500 kHz for RS422/TTL.
- 4 push-pull outputs.
- Power supply: 10–30 VDC.
- Temperature range extension: -4° to +140° F (20° C to +60° C).
- Snap-on housing for the top hat rail (EN 60715).
- LEDs for indicating input pulses.
- Dimensions (W x H x D): 72 x 144 x 61 mm (2.83 x 4.89 x 2.38").
- Consumption (without encoder supply) is approximately 40 mA.
- Input level HTL is asymmetrical (no inverted track). Low: less than 4 V; high: greater than 10 V.
- Input level "Select": Low: <4 V, High: >10 V.
- Cascade-input A, B, Z, and Pegel 5 V [CMOS, low < 0.8 V, high > 3,5 V].
- Signal delay: 400 ns.
- Weight is approximately 400 grams.
- Storage: -22°F to +167°F (-30°C to +75°C).
- Standards and conformity: EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-3; EMV 2004/108/EG.
