Description:
- A Solar Drive is a fully automated Solar Water Pumping Solution that protects and controls the pump while using the sun's free power to produce water at a low cost in places with limited or no access to electricity.
- In addition, the Solar Drive has several important VSD functions for motor protection, including overvoltage, undervoltage, phase imbalance, phase loss, and overcurrent.
- This solar-powered approach also has the added benefit of removing the potential voltage drop over long lengths of electrical cable between the AC supply and the motor (as well as the cost and risk of cable theft).
Specifications:
- Same features as normal SP1 and SP3 Series (different IP Ratings).
- The IP54 SP1 Solar Drives, like the normal SP1 Solar Drives, can be utilized with single-phase motors (AC or DC power source).
- To choose the best model for a single-phase motor, ensure that the Solar Drive Amp rating is more than the Motor Amp rating.
- IP54 Version of SP1 Series.
- 3-Phase Power: 5.5kW.
- Single-Phase Power: 3kW.
- Input Current: 50 A.
- Output Current: 25 A.
- This solar drive does include a built-in Braking unit.
- Please note the high input Amps required from the supply to generate the 3-Phase 220V power (when using AC Input).
- For Single-Phase Motors, please confirm the motor Amp rating when selecting the SP1 Model (the kW rating in the table is an estimate).
