Controllers for rotating crosscutters:

  • The CT803 firmware, together with the MC800 hardware, is utilized in machine applications such as rotary crosscutters and other rotary applications.
  • The MC800 hardware and the CT803 firmware excel because of their quick position control cycles, high dynamics, and accurate cuts.
  • The Motrona MC800 multi-axis motion controller, a successor to the successful MC700, features a larger bandwidth and a more flexible bus architecture.
  • Different encoders and other sensor systems can be connected thanks to the universal encoder inputs.
  • This system's unique feature is the integrated tandem drive controller, which divides power between two separate drives to meet the acceleration needs of the following axis.

Flying Material Processing Firmware:

  • Two pulse inputs with the format A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z [HTL, RS422] with input frequencies up to 2 MHz.
  • 2 control inputs in the format SIN+, SIN-, COS+, COS- [1 Vss] with input frequencies up to 400 kHz.
  • 2 SSI inputs with formats DATA+, DATA-, CLOCK+, and CLOCK- up to 25 bits, with SSI switching frequencies ranging from 100 Hz to 1 MHz.
  • 2 scalable 14-bit analogue inputs for 0/4... 20 mA, or ±10 V.
  • 4 control inputs for PNP and NPN signals (10... 30 VDC).
  • 4 fast interrupt inputs [10–30 VDC] for PNP and NPN signals.
  • 1 pulse output in the A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z format [RS422].
  • 4 control outputs with push-pull characteristics and short-circuit-proof [5... 30 VDC].
  • 2 scalable 14-bit analogue outputs for 0/4... 20 mA or ±10 V.
  • Loop time is approximately 250 µs.
  • Power supply: 18...35 VDC.
  • Snap-on housing for the top hat rail (according to EN 60715).
  • Interfaces onboard: USB 2.0, CANopen, Ethernet/IP, RS232/RS485, and Modbus RTU.
  • Ethernet interfaces that are optional include Powerlink, PROFINET, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, and SERCOS III.
  • Optional Fieldbus interfaces (slave) include CC-Link, DeviceNet, and PROFIBUS.
  • It functions with all 4-Q-drive systems and has a standardized drive communication bus, such as SERCOS-II. An alternative setpoint of ±10 V can be used.
  • The controllers can be set up by an external operator terminal as well as HMIs using a standardized factory communication bus, such as PROFINET.
  • Setup using the free Windows operator program.
