Description:
- To transform parallel data from encoders, sensors, BCD preselect switches, or controllers into a serial data stream, the Motrona PR210 Signal Converter was created.
- This is especially helpful in situations where more recent devices with a serial interface are required to replace older controllers with a parallel data interface, preserving the machine's current parallel structure and cabling.
Key Features:
- Parallel Input: 20-bit input with format BCD, binary, or Gray-Code.
- Input Frequency: Up to 5 kHz for fast encoders, auto-transmit / data logging at 0.5 kHz.
- Serial Output: RS232 or RS485 interface for readout by PC, PLC, or other controls.
- Status Outputs: 4 status outputs with push-pull characteristic, short-circuit-proof [5 ... 30 VDC].
- Power Supply: 10 ... 30 VDC.
- Housing: Snap-on housing for top hat rail (EN 60715).
