SSI and parallel input signal converters:
- The IP251 SSI, Absolute / RS232 / Parallel Signal Converter is a compact and inexpensive but exceptionally powerful converter for industrial machine applications that require sensor or encoder information in absolute SSI format to be transformed into parallel binary, grey code, or BCD formats.
- The IP251 Signal Converter can also convert serial RS232 data to one of the above parallel formats.
- Within a compact enclosure designed for DIN rail mounting, the IP251 Signal Converter features 12 screw terminals along with a 25-pin and a 9-pin SUB-D socket.
SSI, Absolute / RS232 / Parallel Signal Converter:
- SSI inputs up to 25 bits in the DATA+, DATA-, CLOCK+, and CLOCK-formats.
- The clock frequency is up to 1 MHz.
- Control input (hold) for PNP signals (10–30 VDC).
- 25-bit parallel output in binary, grey-code, or BCD format with push-pull characteristics.
- Power supply: 18–30 VDC.
- Snap-on housing for the top hat rail (EN 60715).
- Serial RS232 input.
