Synchronization of Drives Firmware BY701
Pricing available on request
Description:
- Applications requiring variable ratio (electronic transmission) or angle-synchronous synchronization of drives (electronic shaft) can benefit from the BY701 firmware.
- In all synchronous phases, the maximum precision is guaranteed by clever calculation algorithms and a brief position control (< 1 ms).
- An MC700 controller can function on up to four axes.
- Both during operation and at standstill, excellent functions for adjusting phase position and synchronous ratios are accessible.
- Signals from index and print marks can also be assessed.
Specifications:
- Any motion control function can be assigned to the MC700, a universal motion controller with one to four axes, by loading a firmware.
- This controller provides outstanding synchronous features for 1–4 axes when used in conjunction with the firmware BY701 (see firmware).
- All possible options for drive synchronization are provided by the firmware, including the impact of relative drive position and phase position as well as a variety of index and print mark functions.
- A "physical master" or the integrated "virtual master axis" with ramps and programmed speeds can be utilized as the master drive, if desired.
- With a cascading output, the number of subsequent axes can be increased indefinitely.
- An external control terminal, serial interface, or optional CANBUS (MC700/CI) can be used to run MC700 controllers. Included is PC operator software.
- A PROFIBUS connection can be established through gateway PB251.
