Unicore DC Motor range LAK6400A
Basic design features:
- Featuring a fully laminated stator, main poles, and interpoles.
- There are two frame designs: compact square and hexagonal.
- Accessories are easily installed.
- End shields provide large holes for easy examination.
- Stator windings use varnish-insulated copper wire.
- The armature core is made of a high-grade insulated electroplate.
- The large number of cooling ducts in the armature ensures efficient cooling.
- Scrambled armature laminations result in low torque ripples.
- Armature windings made of varnished copper are optimized for low commutating stresses and great mechanical strength.
- Armature is impregnated for optimal heat transfer.
- Brush holders have spring-loaded pressure fingers.
- Designed to be versatile with multiple options and accessories.
- Painting with high corrosion resistance.

Insulation:
- Class H.
Temperature rise:
- Frames 112-180: Class F.
- Frames 200-400: Class H.
Vibration class and balance:
- LAK 4000 motors follow IEC 60034-14 with vibration class A as standard.
- Grade B is available on request.
- The motors are balanced with half key as standard.
Overload capacity:
- LAK4112-4280:
- 160% of nominal torque for 15 sec every 5 min (or for 30 sec every 30 min).
- 180% of nominal current for 15 sec every 5 min (or for 30 sec every 30 min).
- LAK6315-6400:
- 195% of nominal torque for 15 sec every 5 min (or for 30 sec every 30 min).
- 200% of nominal current for 15 sec every 5 min (or for 30 sec every 30 min).
Terminal box position:
- LAK 4112-4180:
- Standard: On right side of the motor (facing d-end).
- Mounting of terminal box on top or left side on request.
LAK 4200-4280:
- Standard: On top of the motor.
- Mounting of terminal box on either side of the motor on request.
LAK 6315-6400:
- Standard : on right side of the motor (facing D-end).
- Mounting of terminal box on top or left side on request.
Blower position:
- Standard: On top of the motor at the non-drive end.
- Other positions on request.
- Blower is supplied without filter as standard.
- Filter on request.
Mechanical data:
- Inertia J-Kgm2: 36.0.
- Max. mechanical speed (min-1): 2100.
