Universal Level Converter and Direction Decoder PU210
Level Converters (HTL, TTL, RS422):
- This Universal Level Converter and Direction Decoder PU210 direction decoder and potential isolation amplifier accepts both single-track and two-lane incremental encoder signals at the input, which can optionally be designed as RS422/TTL or HTL level (10–30 V).
- If the signal is rotation-related, the direction can be determined by a 90° phase shift of channels A and B or a static direction signal.
- The signals A, /A, B, /B, and Z, /Z are available at the output, independent of the level and direction of the input signal. The direction of rotation is again available in formats A and B with a 90° phase shift or as a static signal.
- The output uses push-pull stages, with the output level approximately 1.5 V lower than the supply voltage of the device, which can range from 5 - 30 VDC.
Universal Level Converter and Direction Decoder:
- 1 pulse input in the format A, B, Z [HTL] or A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z [RS422].
- The input frequency is up to 500 kHz.
- 1 pulse output with the format A, /A, B, /B, Z, /Z [RS422, HTL].
- Power supply: 5–30 VDC.
- Possible separation between input and output.
- It is possible to convert A, B, or 90° directional information into static directional signals and vice versa.
- Connections on both the input and output are made using sub-D plugs or plug-in screw terminals (parallel connections).
- Snap-on housing for the top hat rail (EN 60715).
