An increase in temperature causes the contact to open. Tamper-proof (pre-set) thermostat/contact maker (NO) for controlling filter fans, heat exchangers, or signalling devices when a temperature limit is exceeded. The temperature rises, causing the contact to close. Unlike traditional change-over contacts, heaters and cooling equipment can be switched independently of one another using a temperature offset.
