The fan heater comes with an integrated electronic thermostat or hygrostat. The variant with thermostat comes with an internal or external sensor. The fan heater, which includes a hygrostat, has an external sensor installed. For accurate temperature and humidity readings, the external sensor is movable throughout the enclosure. Initially, the DCR 030 was intended to be a stationary device for the enclosure's bottom. For wall mounting, the fan heater DCR 130 is recommended.
