The heater's design encourages natural convection, which produces a strong heated air circulation. Because of the heater design, surface temperatures on the housing's accessible side surfaces remain low. Our entire thermostat and hygrostat line is immediately compatible with the CS 060 heater. This heater is also available with a plug-in thermostat that doesn't require any additional wiring (CSF 060). The heaters are intended to run continuously. This heater is also available without a thermostat (CS 060).
