The 1756-HIST2G is an embedded historian module for the ControlLogix platform that collects, stores, and manages real-time production data directly in the control system.
Since it is powered by FactoryTalk Historian Machine Edition (ME) software, localized data logging is possible without requiring external PCs or servers.
The module, which includes an inbuilt 8 GB solid-state drive, securely stores time-series data from controllers, sensors, and devices, making it useful for applications such as process optimization, regulatory compliance, and machine performance analysis.
It includes built-in capabilities for tag configuration, diagnostics, and data export, making it perfect for industries including medicines, food and beverage, and energy.
