Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1756-IA16K is a 16-point AC digital input module intended for use in ControlLogix® chassis-based applications.
It detects the status of field devices such as switches, sensors, and relays that operate at 79-132V AC. Each input channel is a current sink, and the module has separate LED indicators for real-time status monitoring.
The "K" suffix indicates that the module has been conformally coated, which provides greater protection against moisture, dust, and corrosive environments, making it suited for tough industrial applications.
This module enables hot-swapping, which allows it to be installed or replaced without shutting down the system, and it works smoothly with Studio 5000 Logix Designer® for configuration and diagnostics.
