Description:
The 1756-IF16H is a high-performance 16-channel analogue input module developed for ControlLogix systems that supports both normal 4-20 mA analogue signals and the HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) communication protocol.
It supports the smooth integration of analogue measurements and digital diagnostics from HART-enabled field devices, making it perfect for process control, instrumentation, and smart sensor networks.
Signal Support: Accepts 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA current loop signals.
HART Capability: Each channel has a dedicated HART modem, providing access to up to four HART variables per device.
Conversion Method: Uses a sequential approximation ADC with a resolution of 16-21 bits.
Analog alone, analogue + HART PV, or analogue + complete HART data are the data formats that can be chosen based on the application.
