Description:
The 1756-IM16I is a ControlLogix AC digital input module with 16 isolated input channels.
This per-point isolation enables each input to function independently, making it excellent for systems with varied voltage sources or where electrical noise is an issue.
It accepts AC voltage inputs ranging from 159 to 265 V AC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz, and is designed to operate at 240 V AC nominal.
The module is compatible with ControlLogix chassis and requires a 1756-TBS6H or 1756-TBCH detachable terminal block to connect.
The module has adjustable input filter times and change-of-state detection, allowing users to fine-tune responsiveness and debounce behaviour.
It also includes status LEDs for each channel, which provide real-time visual feedback on input conditions.
The 1756-IM16I is designed for dependability, is certified for Class I, Division 2 hazardous sites, and provides thermal dissipation of up to 19.78 BTU/hr at 60°C.
