A common digital input module for the ControlLogix platform, the 1756-IV16 has 16 source-type input channels that are intended to track 12/24V DC signals coming from field devices including relays, switches, and sensors.
Unlike sink-type modules, this one is designed for applications where the field device feeds current into the input.
Each channel has rapid reaction times and unique LED indicators for real-time condition monitoring.
The module works flawlessly with Studio 5000 software for configuration and diagnostics, and it allows hot swapping, allowing maintenance without system interruption.
