The 1756-L83ES is a high-performance GuardLogix 5580 safety controller that integrates normal and safety control on a single platform.
Designed for demanding industrial applications, it provides quick processing, a huge memory capacity, and integrated motion over EtherNet/IP.
This controller is perfect for systems that require both high-speed automation and certified functional safety, such as those found in the automotive, packaging, and processing industries.
It has dual Gigabit Ethernet connections with Device-Level Ring (DLR) support for network redundancy and is programmed with Studio 5000 Logix Designer, which allows for unified construction of standard and safety logic.
To achieve safety redundancy, the 1756-L83ES must be linked with a 1756-L8SP Safety Partner module, guaranteeing that safety tasks are executed synchronously.
