The 1756-OB32K is a 32-point DC digital output module intended for use with ControlLogix® programmable automation systems.
It generates current-sourcing outputs (positive logic) to control field devices such solenoids, contactors, indication lamps, and actuators.
Each output channel may produce up to 0.5 A, giving the module a total output capacity of 16 A at low temperatures.
The OB32K is distinguished by its conformal coating, represented by the letter "K," which shields the internal circuitry of the module from dust, moisture, and corrosive gasses.
This makes it perfect for severe industrial settings such as mining, chemical processing, and outdoor installations.
