The 1769-AENTR is an EtherNet/IP adapter module designed to work with CompactLogix 1769 I/O systems.
It supports dispersed I/O over Ethernet, allowing users to link 1769 I/O modules to a Logix controller across an Ethernet network.
This adapter has twin Ethernet ports, allowing for star, linear, and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies, which improve network flexibility and resilience.
It is notably handy for customers who want to upgrade to newer CompactLogix controllers while keeping their old 1769 I/O modules.
The module supports up to 128 EtherNet/IP connections, runs at 10/100 Mbps, and employs rotary switches to configure IP addresses.
