The 1769-L30ERMS is a safety-enabled programmable automation controller (PAC) from the Compact GuardLogix 5370 L3 family, intended for mid-range industrial applications that require both conventional and safety controls.
It combines motion, safety, and communication features in a small package.
This controller has these features:
1 MB of ordinary logic memory.
0.5 MB of safety memory.
Dual EtherNet/IP ports, including Device Level Ring (DLR) capability.
USB programming port.
Support for up to four axes of CIP motion, including kinematics and integrated safety features.
It can support up to eight local I/O modules and sixteen EtherNet/IP nodes, as well as a 1GB SD card for program storage and diagnostics.
The unit is certified for SIL 3 and PLe safety requirements, making it appropriate for safety-critical automated systems.
