Description: The PanelView™ 5510 terminals monitor, and control devices connected to ControlLogix® 5570 or 5580 controllers and CompactLogix® 5370, 5380, or 5480 controllers via an EtherNet/IP network. Animated graphic and text displays give operators an insight into the operation of a machine or process. To interact with the control system, operators use the terminal's touch screen or keyboard. The PanelView 5510 terminals have the following characteristics and capabilities: Information exchange between the PanelView 5510 terminal and the Logix platforms is made possible by an integrated control and design environment. The Studio 5000 View Designer® and Studio 5000 Logix Designer® apps are accessible through a single interface. The following controllers with software V27 or later can be used with PanelView 5000 terminals: CompactLogix 5370, 5380, and 5480 controllers; ControlLogix 5570 and 5580 controllers. Supports up to 500 user-defined screens. Supports up to 4000 Logix-based alerts per controller. Ethernet communication that supports the Device Level Ring (DLR), linear, and star network topologies. High-speed HMI button control and an easily configurable navigation menu. HTML5-compatible web browser that can show webpages, movies (mp4), and IP camera broadcasts (H.264 or MJPEG). Automatic diagnostic capability. Conformal coating, represented by a 'K' at the end of the catalogue number, is available for all resistive touch terminals. Brandless, denoted by a "B" at the end of the catalogue number, is available for all resistive touch terminals. Stainless-steel resistive touch terminals (designated with a "S" in the catalogue number) are available in 9-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch sizes. These terminals are also DC powered, brand-free, and conformally coated. Capacitive touch terminals come in seven-inch, ten-inch, twelve-inch, fifteen-inch, nineteen-inch, and twenty-two-inch widescreen sizes.
