To ensure that the circuit is closed, just open the current transformer's locking mechanism, place it around the primary conductor, and lock. The device is operational as soon as the secondary conductors are connected. MBS AG current transformers completely comply with IEC 61869/1+2 - DIN 42600 - DIN VDE 0414/1 - VBG 4. Comes with 2 x 1.5 mm2 and a 0.5 m connecting cable.
