Short Description
Description:
The 5094-IB16SXT is a 16-channel sinking digital safety input module with an XT conformal coating, intended for use in hazardous or corrosive settings.
It's part of Rockwell Automation's FLEX 5000™ I/O platform and offers functional safety applications up to SIL 3, PLe, Cat. 4. When linked with GuardLogix 5380 or 5580 controllers.
It detects input transitions (ON/OFF state changes) from field devices such as sensors and switches.
The Producer/Consumer communication model is used to ensure efficient EtherNet/IP data exchange.
LED indicators display channel status, module health, and power diagnostics.
Hot-swap capability (RIUP)—replace modules without shutting down the system.
