Short Description
The Aeotec Multipurpose Sensor is a multipurpose Zigbee 3.0 smart sensor that can detect the open/closed status, vibration, orientation, and temperature of doors, windows, cabinets, garage doors, and other moveable items.
It combines a magnetic reed sensor with an integrated accelerometer to provide full monitoring for both security and smart home automation.
When connected to the Aeotec Smart Home Hub or any compatible Zigbee hub, the Multipurpose Sensor can activate lights, sirens, thermostats, and other smart devices based on door or window activity.
