The Aqara Door and Window Sensor T1 is a small ZigBee 3.0 smart contact sensor that detects the opening and closing of doors, windows, drawers, cabinets, mailboxes, and other mobile items.
By measuring the distance between the sensor and the magnetic contact, it delivers accurate real-time status detection for security monitoring and smart home management.
When linked to a compatible Aqara Zigbee Hub, the Door and Window Sensor T1 can transmit rapid messages to the Aqara Home app and perform automatic tasks like turning on lights, starting alarms, closing curtains, and controlling other Aqara devices.
The T1 model also enables OTA (Over-the-Air) software updates, which provide increased stability and functionality over prior generations.
