The MPU6500 is a high-performance 6-axis motion tracking sensor that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer into a compact device.
TDK InvenSense designed it with integrated 16-bit ADCs, a Digital Motion Processor (DMP®), and a 512-byte FIFO buffer for efficient motion data processing with reduced microcontroller workload.
The MPU6500 supports I²C and SPI communication interfaces and is widely utilized in robotics, drones, balancing robots, gaming controllers, wearable devices, IoT systems, and embedded motion sensing applications.
