Short Description
The 20-Way IDC Socket with Strain Relief is a ribbon cable connector that allows for the fast and reliable termination of 20-way flat ribbon cables.
The conventional 2.54 mm pitch and 2 × 10 contact layout allow for compatibility with usual 20-way IDC box headers found on PCBs and development boards.
The connector employs Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC) technology, which enables the ribbon cable to be terminated without stripping individual wires.
An incorporated strain relief clip clamps the cable, increasing mechanical strength and shielding the termination from vibration and cable movement.
It is suitable for usage in industrial control systems, embedded electronics, test equipment, and computer peripherals.
