Ethernet/IP Network Adapter

Description: Ethernet/IP Network Adapter with 2 Cu RJ45 ports and 1024 bytes (input and output). IEC 61158 was followed in the development of the Ethernet/IPTM participant, the EPXEIP001 network adapter. The network adapter is the primary module for the RSTI-EP communication bus, to which up to 64 active RSTI-EP modules can be connected. The Ethernet/IP network adapter includes two Ethernet ports and an integrated switch. The network adapter can be accessed using a system-independent web server program via the USB service interface or Ethernet. As a result, all information, including diagnostics, status values, and parameters, may be read, and all associated modules may be emulated or forced. The network adapter houses the main power supply for the station. Two 4-pole connectors that divide the input and output current routes are used to supply power. The RSTI-EP station is typically mounted on a horizontal DIN rail. Installation on vertically positioned DIN rails is also an option. Heat dissipation is reduced, resulting in altered derating values (see Thermal Derating section). Modules should be allowed to de-energize for at least 10 seconds following power-off before beginning any maintenance work. It is not possible to hot swap the network adapter.
