It transforms TTL-logic levels to RS-232 levels and vice versa and runs on a single 5V supply.
Dual Driver/Receiver: Converts signals from TTL to RS-232.
Low Power Consumption: Because of its low power dissipation in shutdown mode, it is appropriate for battery-powered devices.
High Data Rate: Supports communication speeds of up to 120 kbps.
Standard Compliance: Meets all EIA/TIA-232 and V.28/V.24 requirements.
