Short Description
The Freescale MAG3110 is a tiny, low-power digital 3-axis magnetometer.
When combined with a 3-axis accelerometer, the device creates an orientation-independent electronic compass capable of providing accurate heading information.
It includes a typical I2C serial interface output and smart embedded functionality.
The MAG3110 measures magnetic fields at an output data rate (ODR) of up to 80 Hz, which corresponds to sample intervals ranging from 12.5 ms to several seconds.
