The SV-iS7 inverter's PROFINET network connectivity is handled by the LS ELECTRIC iS7 PROFINET communication module.
PROFINET is an IEC 61158 Type 10-compliant communication protocol.
Full-duplex data transfer, made possible by the PROFINET communication module, provides real-time communication without transmission collisions.
A PLC sequence program or any master PLC module can be used to control and monitor the iS7 inverter through a PROFINET connection.
Furthermore, PROFINET is simple to connect to, which supports quicker installation and simpler maintenance.
