The ST-300/ST-301 are multi-range timers that provide delayed relay release after a power supply breakdown. The time delay is adjustable in six overlapping bands. When power is connected to the unit, the relay activates immediately, and the LED indicates that the power is on. While the power is on, an internal battery or capacitor is charged. When power quits, the LED turns off, but the relay remains turned on. The timer now gets power from the internal capacitor or battery. If the power is turned off for longer than the specified time, the relay de-energizes. If power is restored before the designated period expires, the relay will remain active. ST-300: The ST-300 has a timing range of 0.15 to 120 seconds. To charge the internal capacitor, apply power to the unit for at least two seconds before interrupting it.
